What will I receive while participating in the Youth Literature Evangelism program?

We will provide you with the following:

Lodging at a location with shower and kitchen.
All meals.
All transportation needed.
All materials needed to execute the work.
Other unknown or unlisted items or expenses that may arise where you have a need.

How do I get to the location from the airport?

We will pick you up at the airport and take you to the airport once the program ends.

What precautions are being taken against COVID-19?

All precautionary measures will be performed on a daily basis to prevent any spread of any diseases/viruses (individual/general hand sanitizer, disinfectant sprays/wipes in every room/vehicle, Clorox used for cleaning dishes, face masks mandatory, adequate space at all times)

Is this invitation for the short term or long term?

This invitation is for a short term only. Upon completion, all must return home whether that is in the USA or home country.

Will I be paid?

This is strictly a volunteer position and the Carolina Conference is extending no employment offer to you. You will not be receiving any kind of salary or

remuneration for the volunteer missionary work you will be doing. During your time here you are not allowed to solicit financial help from church members, the Conference nor any government agency.

Can I volunteer while I work in another job?

Volunteers will engage solely in legitimate religious activity for the Carolina Conference and no employment or other occupation will be permitted.

Will there be guidelines I am required to follow?

You must follow the student guidelines that will be provided to you. You will not be allowed to leave your assigned territory without first obtaining permission from your Youth Publishing Director.
